This part makes sense; the military spends millions of dollars on leadership training for every rank. This is one of the reasons we have such a strong force. The reason they struggle with applying it to their own company is simple: they prioritize manufacturing or making money over the people. As a leader in the military, our strength lies in our focus on our troops, from simple things like eating first to having the ability to show empathy while maintaining a high standard. This is a fine line and is not easy to do. If you lead with your heart and put your subordinates first, they will continue to succeed.
